Grant Manager  – Full or Part-time 5 Days = 37.5 Hours or 4 Days = 30 Hours

Location: Home-based around Grimsby / Hull / Lincoln (please see map below)

GrantScape is a grant-making Charity which provides financial support to community, environmental and educational projects throughout the UK. The grants we award make fundamental changes to the lives, the communities, and the environment within the areas we operate.

We are seeking a dynamic, committed, flexible and energetic individual to join our friendly and supportive team.

The Grant Manager will help in the assessment and administration of grant applications, and to manage meetings with a range of local voluntary Advisory Panels, established to help prioritise which applications are supported. The successful candidate will be a great communicator who can manage complex situations and find solutions to difficult problems. You will have strong project management skills to administer a wide portfolio of projects supported.

You will be secure working autonomously but also thrive, working as part of a complex team. With at least 2 years’ experience in project management or grant-making, you must also have a good understanding of the Third Sector. A clean UK driving licence and access to a car for business use is essential (mileage is paid @ 45p per mile and a hire car will be provided for journeys over 120 miles in distance).

The role is home-based and applicants must be located in the area shown on the map below (please click on it to view it in Google Maps), and continue to do so for the duration of their employment in this role. This is to ensure that the new member of our team is well positioned to travel north and south to manage several location-specific funds along the eastern side of the country. You will be required to stay overnight approximately one or two occasions per month, and travel to our Head Office in Milton Keynes for team meetings up to four times per year.

The salary will start at £32,000 per annum, rising to £35,000 per annum upon successful completion of a 4-month probationary period. A full job description and person specification can be found below.
