The wind farm was developed by Airvolution Energy and is now owned by Wythegill Wind Farm Ltd. There is £6,000 approximately available per year for community grants.
The Wythegill Wind Farm is owned and managed by Netro Energy Limited (originally developed by Airvolution Energy).
The single turbine became operational by the end of April 2015.

Wythegill Wind Farm Ltd has committed £6,000 (approximately) per year for community grants.
To qualify for a grant, your project will need to be located within Seaton Parish. We will also accept applications from community projects in Siddick, located in Workington Civil Parish.
Please note: All applications must be supported by your Parish or Town Council and confirmation of this should be stated within your application, to then be considered for a grant.
The Fund
The Fund allows groups to apply for grants from £250 up to a maximum amount specified each year. The maximum amount is the total annual budget plus any unallocated monies from previous years.
There will be one application round to apply to each year. Any funds not allocated to projects will be carried over to the next year.
