Provided by Hallburn Wind Farm, £66,000 available each year for grants between £250 and £20,000. Projects must be located within the Parishes of Arthuret, Hethersgill, Kirkandrews-on-Esk, Kirklinton Middle, Nicholforest, Scaleby, Solport, Stapleton and Westlinton.

The Fund is open to new applications. There is £66,000 available each year to give out in grants.

Project locations

Projects for which grants are requested must be for the benefit of communities within the Parishes of Arthuret, Hethersgill, Kirkandrews-on-Esk, Kirklinton Middle, Nicholforest, Scaleby, Solport, Stapleton and Westlinton.

Decision Making

Applications are reviewed by a local Advisory Group (AG) that has been established to help decide how the grants will be allocated from the Fund.

The AG comprises:

Cllr Tim Pickstone (Cumberland Council)
One nominated Parish Councillor from each of the nine parishes, covered by the Fund
