The Garlenick Wind Farm is owned and managed by Netro Energy Limited (originally developed by Airvolution Energy).

The turbines became operational by the end of 2014.

Garlenick Wind Farm Ltd has committed c£18,000 per year for community grants.

To qualify for a grant, your project will need to be located within the Parish of Grampound with Creed.

The Fund

The Fund allows groups to apply for grants between £150 and £9,000 (or up to 50% of the value of the Fund if this is higher than £9,000). In exceptional circumstances a larger grant of up to the total value of the Fund for the year may be considered (i.e. to £18,000).

There will be one application round to apply to each year. However, additional rounds may be established if not all of the funding is allocated.

The next deadline date is 13 March 2024.

Historically, applicants were invited to present their applications to the local Advisory Panel at a public meeting as part of the decision-making process. Applicants will not now be invited to attend these meetings.

The Local Advisory Panel 

A local Advisory Panel (AP) has been established (through an open and transparent local ballot and voting process), to help decide how the grants will be allocated.
