Belvoir Solar Farm Community Benefit Fund
Belvoir Solar Park is owned and managed by Qualitas Energy
The Community Benefit Fund will provide an initial contribution of £162,000 to support community projects within the parish of Bottesford, Leicestershire.
Further annual contributions from Qualitas Energy of approximately £25,000 (index linked) will be made to the fund every year of its remaining operational life (40 years in total), commencing approximately six years after the solar farm becomes operational – expected to be 2033.
The Fund is not yet open to applications but is expected to launch in early autumn 2026.
Decision-Making – Local Advisory Panel
A Local Advisory Panel will be established to help guide funding decisions and ensure that local priorities are reflected in the allocation of grants.
The structure and composition of the Local Advisory Panel will be as follows:
- Up to three representatives from the Parish Council
- One representative from Muston
- Up to three additional local residents or community representatives

- Details of any local community groups or organisations you represent within your village, if applicable.
Advisory Panel members must reside within the Parish, have a good understanding of their local community, and be able to provide an independent and balanced view of local needs, opportunities and priorities when considering grant applications.
GrantScape will review all applications received and appoint the Advisory Panel members. Appointments will be confirmed by the end of October.
