Coastal Recycling Community Fund Awards Grants

logocoastal200Eight highly deserving organisations in Devon are celebrating being awarded grants through the Coastal Recycling Community Fund.

The successful groups to receive a share of the £71,500 available for this funding round are:

Alwington Village Hall, Bideford BMX Club, Cullompton Cricket and Recreation Club, Huntshaw Parish Hall, Newton Abbot Royal British Legion, Petrockstow Parish Council, Roborough Village Hall and St Michael and All Angels PCC in Torrington.

Monies for the Community Fund are provided by Coastal Recycling through the Landfill Communities Fund.

Harry Wild from Coastal Recycling, said:

“We are delighted that this round of funding will support such a diverse range of projects. We know that the Coastal Recycling Community Fund has directly contributed to widespread social benefits across Devon and no doubt these eight deserving projects will go on to touch many more people. We very much look forward to working with these groups and helping them to flourish.”

Coastal Recycling is principally keen to support projects within 10 miles of its landfill sites at Deep Moor, Torrington and Kenbury Wood, near Exeter. There are four funding rounds per year, groups can apply for grants of between £5,000 and £25,000.
