WREN Bedfordshire Programme

In 2006, grant maker WREN commissioned GrantScape to deliver a £1million grant programme in Bedfordshire. WREN’s objective was to firmly establish itself in Bedfordshire, and it was, therefore, important to ensure that this grant programme was a real success

Obtaining sufficient applications of the right calibre was a significant challenge that we faced from the outset. Nonetheless, our marketing of the programme and our networking with local infrastructure bodies proved highly effective. We generated exceptional interest in the programme and WREN were able to meet their target of giving £1million of grants to community organisations.

On this project we worked in accordance with WREN’s processes and standards, demonstrating that we can be flexible in how we provide outsourced services. Our processes are robust and our standards are high, but we recognise that they are not the only valid means of operating. This WREN programme showed our ability to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
