Whitemoss Landfill Limited

Whitemoss Landfill Limited, based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, was acquired by Veolia plc in January 2019.

For more than twenty five years, the site has been an important facility for disposal of residues from recycling activities and the remediation of contaminated land.

Whitemoss Landfill Limited donate approximately £140,000 per year through the Landfill Communities Fund. Community groups with projects located in the West Lancashire Borough Council area and that are within 5 miles of the landfill site in Skelmersdale, can apply for a grant between £5,000 and £25,000.
