Bluefield Solar Income Fund

Bluefield Solar Income Fund (BSIF) is an investment company focused on the acquisition and long term management of a diversified portfolio of low carbon assets in the UK.

BSIF primarily targets utility scale solar assets and portfolios on greenfield, industrial and/or commercial sites, with the objective of delivering long-term stable dividends.

Operational since Spring 2014, the four-turbine wind farm at Hampole near Doncaster, has a total generation capacity of 8.2MW, sufficient to power around 4,900 average homes. Good Energy provides c.£9,000 per year for community projects located in the areas of Hooton Pagnell, Brodsworth, Pickburn, Hampole, Moorhouse and Skelbrooke, and within a 4km radius of the wind farm.

The Hampole Community Benefit Fund gives groups the opportunity to apply for grants between £250 and £9,000 and was formerly owned by Good Energy.

GrantScape continue to manage the Fund on behalf of the new owners.

Bluefield Solar Income Fund also own 14 other sites with community benefit fund commitments and GrantScape provide an oversight service for these too.
